What is the our Approach?

Supporting emotionally dysregulated children can feel overwhelming – especially when traditional behavioural strategies don’t seem to work. That’s why we use the BOUNCE framework, a unique approach grounded in neuroscience, attachment theory, and trauma-informed practice.

Instead of asking “What’s wrong with this child?”, BOUNCE helps us ask “What is this child’s nervous system communicating?” It forms the foundation of all our work – from coaching and family sessions to downloadable resources and training courses.

BOUNCE combines evidence-based, child-friendly models to help children understand their internal experiences, while empowering adults to support regulation through safety, connection, and attunement.

This approach promotes lasting emotional resilience, not just short-term behaviour management.

Does it Work?

Yes – our approach has shown significant impact in reducing emotional dysregulation in children, as experienced by the families, schools, and professionals we work with. The BOUNCE framework creates real, lasting change by addressing the root causes of dysregulation rather than just managing behaviour.

We regularly hear from parents, teachers, and practitioners who’ve seen improvements in children’s emotional resilience, confidence, and relationships – often in a short space of time.
